Novels Class Service Project

Second hour Novels class did a service project.  They made encouraging cards for terminally ill children at St. Jude Hospital.  In addition, the class sent some candy to the local nursing home in Sarcoxie.

"If felt good to make these cards to hopefully bring a smile to a kid who is in the hospital. We wanted to encourage these kids and make their day better," Senior Clayton Carver explained.

One of the students in the class, Mitch Schaefer, works at the Sarcoxie Nursing Home and suggested we send some candy to give out at Halloween. The nursing home was very thankful for the candy and the thoughtfulness.
